Dr. John Kylan Lynch - D.O. MPH

Dr. Lynch graduated magna cum laude from the University of Health Sciences College of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri in 1992.   He completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in Neurology at Northwestern University.  Dr. Lynch completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular disease and also received a Master’s in Public Health in Chronic Disease Epidemiology at the Yale University School of Medicine.  Currently, Dr. Lynch is a Senior Staff Fellow in the Neuroepidemiology Branch at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke in Bethesda, Maryland.

    Dr. Lynch has received several awards,  including an Outstanding Teacher Award from Northwestern University, a Certificate of Recognition and a Special Service Award from Recognition and a Special Service Award from the National Institutes of Health, and Young Alumnus of the Year from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine.

    Dr. Lynch has served as a neurologist investigator on a number of clinical trials and is currently a co-investigator on a study of stroke in children at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.  Dr. Lynch has lectured extensively on cerebrovascular disease, and clinical research.
