This page is dedicated to the "Little Angels" who have left us, for the time being.

Once again with deep sadness that I once again have to add to this page.  In 8/02 PJ lost her daughter, Joy, who was 2 1/2 years old.   Please feel free to visit Joy's homepage at:

www.lebaronfamily.com

Joy's stroke was caused by Lupus Anticoagulant and she also had ONH/SOD.  She passed away from Cerebral Edema of an unknown cause. Below is a picture of Joy at Easter 2002.

May she rest in peace.

The Rivers of Tears will Never Quell my Fears" by Allison Rhode. Allison wrote this quote when her son, Stephen,  became ill at the age of 2.

It is now with great sadness that I announce the passing of Stephen C. Rhode, age 6, son of Allison and Michael Rhode.  He passed away on Monday June 3, 2002 quietly in his sleep.  Stephen was diagnosed at the age of 2 with Congenital Heart Disease, Stroke and a Seizure Disorder.  He will always be in our thoughts and prayers and our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends.

On Wednesday April 17, 2002 Laura Snyder's daughter, Hannah, passed away at the age of 3 1/2. Below is a copy of her online journal entry. I am printing this with Laura's permission. I know I speak for all of us when I say how very sad we are for your loss Laura and that you and your family are in all of our prayers. Love, PSN, Heather and Family.

Hi to all our Friends

Hannah was admitted to the hospital on 4-17-02 to have some changes made to her ventilator. All was going pretty well Hannah and I spent the afternoon snuggling and reading books; it was just Hannah and me. At 10:00 on 4-17-02 Hannah and I were reading a book, one of those touch and feel books. Hannah got very blue so I called the nurse and she came in. We started bagging (breathing for Hannah with an ambu bag) Hannah made a little sound and I leaned down face to face with her and told her its ok mommy's here. At that time, in that moment Hannah's heart quit beating, I felt her leave. Hannah went to live with Jesus on 4-17-02 at 10:30 pm Hannah was born on 7-14-02 I picked up Hannah and snuggled her. So after family and friends came to see her, I bathed her, hand printed her, then I carried her from her hospital room outside, I had planed to only carry her to the stretcher but when I started carrying her I realized I have never carried my Angel Baby anywhere without tubes and wires, so I carried her outside. The night was warm and the sky was crystal clear all the stars were shining down on us as I laid my Angel Baby onto the stretcher. I covered her up with her blanket, gave her a kiss, a hug and her prayer bear. Then I said a little prayer to her we always say this prayer we just changed it a little tonight.. Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the lord my soul to keep Angels guard me through the night and wake me in Gods' holy light. I thank God for allowing me to hold and love an Angel..

Thank you for being there

Laura Mommy to an Angel
